After six months of research Stateside launched their Paleo menu and have a variety of healthy options too.

Their innovative approach to business development and the use of technology ensures the restaurant runs efficiently. Management have recently invested money expanding into an additional unit providing higher capacity, a reception area and a deli, while a new till system brings benefits for operational and analytical purposes. Free WI-FI is provided for the convenience of customers. A successful growing business, continually improving business practice with a focus on customer satisfaction.

 

Pat’s Pizza/Pat’s on the Square

Pat’s on the Square is an award-winning sit in Italian bistro celebrating its 30th birthday this year. Its sister restaurant, Pat’s Pizza on Main Street, focuses mainly on take-away and delivery menus. The two together have been serving local families for many years.

The company has always found innovative ways of promoting the business and now uses facebook and twitter and is currently running competitions for their 30th celebrations. They have recently invested in a new van and equipment this year and refurbishment works are ongoing.

The owners, Mary & Pat, have implemented business systems that have greatly improved the efficiency of the business, with staff receive regular training and Pat himself overseeing pizza training.  They hold weekly meetings with managers, supervisors and staff, welcoming all ideas and solutions in respect to problem solving. The restaurant never stands still and management hold true to the motto: ‘the customer is king’.

Successful accountant Larissa Feeney founded Ireland’s first online accounting website in 2011 enabling the business to deliver its services well beyond Donegal and across Ireland to a varied range of business sectors.

Since 2009 the company has grown to a staff of five and seen sales turnover and online business grow by 75%.

Their approach to the business has been practical, determined and resourceful, riding out the challenge of being founded during a recession. They operate a paperless office with no filing cabinets or file storage meaning all documents are held in the cloud.

Services include preparing accounts, tax returns, VAT and Payroll for sole trader and companies; helping clients in dealing with Revenue and preparing applications for finance. Having grown quickly in 5 years, Larissa and her team are continuously creating new services for their growing customer base.
