Retailer of the Year, sponsored by Dillon’s Hotel
This award celebrates Retailers, from all over Letterkenny and surrounding area, who are really going places. Applications are invited from retailers of all sizes who can show they have ambition, energy, skill and vision to really scale the heights.

Business Excellence, sponsored by Highland Radio
This award is about innovation and business development, not just about size or sales. Applications are invited from businesses that can demonstrate excellence in business development and/or managerial processes.
Criteria: Management and system procedures; Customer need and service; Business growth; Product/service development; Innovative approach
Best Innovation Award, sponsored by LYIT/North West Science Park
The award is open to all businesses with innovative products or processes or businesses that are using technology platforms for business development. The recipient will display an innovative approach to business and will have good prospects for the future.
Criteria: Success; Competitiveness; Technology
Best Start Up Business, sponsored by AIB
The award is open to all businesses that have started within the last two years. The recipient will have displayed a strategic approach to business, successful implementation of a business strategy and will have good prospects for the future.
Criteria: Objectives; Growth; Competitive edge; Future plans.
Excellence in Marketing, sponsored by Bank of Ireland
This award explores the creative world of marketing and the recipient will have demonstrated flair, inventiveness and improvisation through the usual marketing techniques and online tools.

Growth through Export, sponsored by Enterprise Ireland
This award offers applicants the opportunity to receive recognition for the growth in their business through export during the last two years. Judges will consider growth in export sales to countries outside Ireland. They will also be looking at strategic plans to sustain this success.

Excellence in Customer Service, sponsored by Ulster Bank
This award is open to all types of businesses that can demonstrate that the customer is at the centre of its activities and committed to the highest levels of service to each and every customer.
Criteria: First impressions; Customer care; Training; Measurement; Feedback.
Best Social Enterprise Award, sponsored by Optum
The judges are looking for a social enterprise which makes an outstanding contribution to their local community in terms of social, economic or environmental improvements. A social enterprise which makes a difference, which inspires and motivates and whose work is both entrepreneurial and makes a fantastic contribution to the community.
Criteria: Community impact; Creativity; Leadership and management; Volunteerism.
Business Person of the Year, sponsored by Donegal County Council
The recipient of this award will be nominated for the recent success of their business and their commitment to the enhancement of business life in the Letterkenny area.
Criteria: Commitment; Investment; Vision; Job creation.
Hall of Fame, sponsored by City of Derry Airport
A special award made to a business person who has made a lifetime contribution to the business community in Letterkenny.
