St.Eunan’s GAA

A club isn’t just born it’s forged over time, passed through generations.Within that time friendships have been formed and St.Eunan’s has grownas a direct result of community involvement. The club is a club, because of what is done on the field… and what is done off it.

It’s this which has given St. Eunan’s it strength, fosters culture and gives the community pride. The black and amber epitomises what it means to be a club. While there is more to be done, the DNA that flows through St. Eunans will ensure its continued growth and success.

Letterkenny Cathedral Quarter

Letterkenny Cathedral Quarter campaigns to regenerate the historical Church Lane to create a hidden treasure in the heart of Letterkenny.

By taking a step by step approach to regeneration there are now seven new businesses in the vicinity and the street itself is has been refurbished and is lively and vibrant. Regular events have been an integral part of involving the wider community and creating interest in the project. The committee has taken an innovative approach that involves key organisations and members of the community in working together to create a plan and vision for the future that citizens and visitors can enjoy.

LATCH – Lifford Old Courthouse

LATCH (Lifford Association for Tourism, Commerce & Heritage) has operated the restored Lifford Old Courthouse as a social enterprise for over 20 years, currently employing 12 people.Visitors to the centre can avail of a number of unique offerings, including guided jail tours of the original cells and ‘JAILBREAK’ the only escape room in Donegal.

They now have an onsite restaurant that hosts regular events including murder mysteries, ladies’ nights and classic film nights.  Always looking to the future LATCH will soon be starting an extensive redevelopment project to enable them to further enhance The Old Courthouse as a visitor attraction.
