SITA
SITA is the world’s leading provider of IT communications and services to the air transport industry. It’s customer base include airports, airlines and governments all over the world with almost every passenger flight using SITA technologies. The company moved to its new purpose-built premises in 2015 and currently employs 150 people in Letterkenny.
SITA has started a major innovation initiative being led by the team in Letterkenny. This month a team from SITA Letterkenny won an international travel hackathon in Dubai with their innovative mobile app. Later this year internal Innovation Challenges focusing on solving air travel industry problems will be run in Letterkenny. Cloud Ranger
CloudRanger provides a cost-effective solution to automate cloud backups and tasks across a range of Amazon Web Services. The company was founded in 2014 and has 4 full-time employees.
With customers in UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Chile, Germany, Brazil and the United States, they have secured their status as an approved Amazon Technology Partner enabling them to sell their SaaS software on the Amazon Marketplace. A new technology company working across the globe that has exciting plans for future growth.
Simply Natural Health
Derek Walker started Simply Natural Health in November 2014 in a polytunnel at his parent’s house and now occupies a state of the art facility in Lismonghan. His wheatgrass products are now stocked in over 30 independent stores country wide and he is at an advanced stage in negotiation with Tesco to supply their Irish stores.
An award winning business, Simply Natural Health wheatgrass is becoming a sought after brand and Derek has many more ideas to develop. He conducts regular in store tastings to keep close to his end user and is constantly developing new products for expansion in the future.
