Definition: a business with primarily social objectives whose surpluses are principally reinvested for that purpose in the enterprise or in the community.

The judges are looking for a community enterprise which makes an outstanding contribution to their local community in terms of social, economic or environmental improvements. The judges are also looking for an enterprise that makes a difference, inspires and motivates and whose work is both entrepreneurial and makes a fantastic contribution to the community.
Applicants will be assessed on the following criteria:

• Creativity;
• Leadership;
• Volunteerism.
