Warning for drivers over black ice

Donegal County Council has issued a warning about black ice on the roads around north Inishowen this morning.

The local authority has again urged the public to drive with care as the cold spell continues. A status yellow weather warning for snow and ice was lifted at 9am.

However, a winter weather advisory warning remains in place for the entire country until 9am on Friday.
