FORMER Donegal footballer and RTE pundit Brendan Devenney, Letterkenny native Sean McFadden who put in an heroic effort to finish second in Ireland’s first ever 24-hour endurance event The Race and former Glenswilly GAA captain and Election hopeful James Pat McDaid will be among the contestants at the big Donegal Youth Service QUBE fundraiser this Friday night in the Clanree Hotel in Letterkenny.
Due to continuous reductions in funding The Donegal Youth Service have been badly impacted by the severity of the harsh cuts on the charity organisation which provides a fantastic service to the youth in Donegal.
The family event, which is based on the hit ITV programme, The Cube, kicks off from 7.30pm this Friday and will challenge contestants to attempt deceivingly simple tasks in a giant cube.
There are still a limited number of places available for Contestants from all walks of life to take part and individuals representing groups and businesses would also be welcome to compete for the First Prize of €4,000 with runner-up prizes totalling €1000. Entry Fee per contestant is €250 and can be gathered through sponsorship or by personal donation. Tickets €20 adult €5 child Family 2 adult & 2 children €40.
