Bundoran RNLI launches to report of red flare


AT 10.40pm on Saturday night, September 6, the volunteer crew of Bundoran RNLI Lifeboat were asked to launch by Malin Head Coast Guard to reports of a red flare being sighted somewhere in Donegal Bay.

WHAT started as a routine training exercise for the volunteer crew of Bundoran RNLI Lifeboat turned into a 90 minute search for a sailing boat thought to be missing off Mullaghmore Head yesterday evening, Thursday, August 7.
