Workshops, plays and music in Ballybofey

The Balor Arts Centre, Ballybofey

THE Omagh bomb, mixed marriages and the unseen truths around the Troubles are all explored in the empowering theatre production, Threads of Resilience, which will be shown for free at the Balor Arts Centre, Ballybofey on Wednesday, November 21, at 8pm.

Produced by Derry’s Playhouse ICAN Project, Threads of Resilience enabled a group of ordinary Omagh women to use storytelling and theatre to express their personal stories in a poignant and surprisingly funny performance.

These stories of conflict have resonated strongly with audiences in Omagh and Ballymena, many of whom shared their own memories in post performance discussions.
