DOWNINGS man Eric Roberts is set to host the red carpet at the Irish Film and Television Awards this weekend.
Describing the opportunity as “mental”, Eric will get the chance to interview some of Ireland’s biggest stars including Saltburn’s Barry Keoghan and Oppenheimer’s Cillian Murphy.
Eric took to TikTok this week to share the news.
“Maybe Cillian Murphy and Barry Keoghan will think I am a really cool guy.
“Maybe they will have a role in an up and coming blockbuster Hollywood film that they think I’m perfect for.
“Maybe we will all become best friends, I’m not a psychic,” he said.
Rehearsing his interview questions before the big gig, Eric shared his ideas with his followers.
“What do I say to Cillian Murphy?
“What’s your favourite spice bag?
“Do you like chicken fillet rolls?” he joked.
The Irish Film and Television Awards are set to take place on Saturday, April 20 at the Dublin Royal Convention Centre.
