Video of Letterkenny performance goes viral

LETTERKENNY man Orson Sterritt alongside Drumkeen’s Louise Hayden took the internet by storm this week following their performance in Letterkenny’s St. Patrick’s parade.

Their performance racked up a total of almost two million views and 45,000 likes.

Although ‘Doris and Arthur’ have been in the works for a long time, Orson felt St. Patrick’s Day was the perfect time to showcase their first performance, not only to Letterkenny but to the world.

Orson is a trained clown and actor, better known as ‘The Amazing Adventures of the Exotic Doctor Proctor’.

With this idea budding, Orson knew he couldn’t have an Arthur without a Doris so the search began for the perfect partner.

When Louise’s name was suggested, Orson knew she would be the perfect fit for the job.

Louise is a fitness instructor, better known as ‘Coach Lou’ and owns Hup Fitness.

Being a trained Irish dancer and having toured with Lord of the Dance, Louise managed to squeeze in a few rehearsals to teach Orson a thing or two, or maybe a one, two, three.

Speaking to the Donegal News, Orson said he was sitting watching TV on Saturday night when his phone started pinging.

“When I went to bed on Saturday night my video was on half a million views. When I got up on Sunday it was on 650,000 views, by 10 o’clock it was on 800,000 and by 3 o’ clock it had reached one million.

“I was just so blown away by it, I didn’t really know how to feel. I love that it’s away viral and I love that people are loving it. The comments are hilarious,” he said.

However, this is only the start of Doris and Arthur.

Keep your eyes peeled, Doris and Arthur will be appearing at a venue near you soon.
