A YELLOW rain warning has been issued for Donegal. Rain is expected to be persistent and heavy at times. The warning came into action today and will remain in place until Thursday at 12am. Possible impacts include localised flooding and difficult travel conditions.

MET ÉIREANN has issued a yellow weather for Donegal which will be in place from 5pm today. Heavy rain with thundery downpours are expected with strong winds at times along eastern facing coasts. Potential impacts include spot flooding and difficult travelling conditions. This weather warning will remain in place until 6am Saturday, August 19.
