Success for Donegal Darts teams at West Coast Challenge

The West Coast Challenge was hosted by the Abbey Hotel in Roscommon last weekend and Donegal Men’s, Ladies and Youths teams travelled to compete, with the Donegal Men winning the main event.

On Friday night a Blind Doubles Competition took place – a massive congratulations to Clive Aiken and his Sligo partner Sam Wray who unfortunately were defeated in the final.

Donegal Men’s A Team won the men’s event, beating Limerick in the final.

Donegal Men’s B Team reached the quarter finals, beaten by Roscommon.

Donegal Development Team reached the semi-final of the shield event.

Donegal Ladies made the Shield Final but were beaten by Mayo.

Youth Teams: Donegal C and Donegal D both reached the semi-finals and Donegal B won the Shield event.

Donegal’s Dean Gallagher made it all the way to the Men’s Opens Singles final on Sunday but was beaten by PDC player Dylan Slevin.

In the Ladies Open Singles, Aoife Porter (14, Letterkenny) was the best of the Donegal Ladies as she reached the semi-final.

In the Youths Singles, Jack Porter and Jackson Timoney were the best of the Donegal Youths with both reaching the semi-finals.
