Robinson Crusoe sets sail in Ballybofey on Friday

THE sets are made and the costumes ready as the annual Christmas Panto Robinson Crusoe sets sail at The Balor Theatre, Ballybofey this Friday night.

Join Robinson Crusoe (Margaret Cunnane) as he races the wicked pirates (Gordon Lucas and Eddie Flanagan) in a frantic search for buried treasure.

Along the way there’s mermaids, cannibals, Robinson’s brother Silly Billy (JC Bonar) and comedy duo Port and Starboard (Paddy McMenamin and Mary Laverty).

There’s great songs courtesy of King and Queen Neptune (Brian Duffy and Mary Sweeney) while the kids will just love the adorable dog.

Directed by Kathleen McGowan, a cast of seventy locals combine their talents to bring you a show full of laughter and romance, dazzling dancing and sinking ships.

The Butt Drama Circle has a reputation as the best showcase of local talent in the North West and this community production guarantees great entertainment for all the family.

Robinson Crusoe runs from today, November 30 to Friday, December 14, weeknights at 8pm, Saturday & Sundays at 4pm.
