MOJO Gogo, a four piece indie/rock band was one of the lucky ten to secure a recording session with famous music producer Rob Kirwan in the custom built Future Sounds recording studio at 2 South Great George’s Street, Dublin.

The Budweiser Future Sounds of Irish Music project received almost 1,000 entries via the Budweiser Facebook page.
Mojo Gogo was chosen as one of ten unsigned acts from all around Ireland to be given the opportunity to spend a day each in a purpose built studio and have an original song produced, mixed and mastered by Rob Kirwan – an incredible experience for the artists to learn from such a renowned music expert.

After touring around Holland last month, Mojo Gogo used their time in the recording studio to refine their sound and record the original track Like the Sun.
Budweiser are giving the ten acts the chance to bring their music to a wider audience by performing a live acoustic set on Phantom FM followed by promotion and airplay of the final cut of the professionally produced track on Phantom FM and features in Hot Press.

Each act also takes part in their own professional photo-shoot and a video of their experience is captured and produced by video/photo journalist Des Foley, who recently won the Budweiser Dream Job Project.

Rob, who has worked as a sound engineer, mixer and producer with artists such as U2, PJ Harvey, Editors, Soulwax, Gary Numan and more recently Delorentos, BellX1 and the Depeche Mode album ‘Delta Machine’, is working with the acts to unlock their sounds during the recording sessions.
