HAVING made it through to the semi final on the judges’ choice, a young Gaoth Dobhair singer is only one step away from this year’s Glór Tire final.

Sarah-Louise McFadden (19) from Gaoth Dobhair is hoping to become the next big thing on the Irish Country Music scene by winning the series, but she needs your vote to get there.

Tonight’s programme is the semi final of the popular talent show and two more contestants will not make the cut.

Currently on her way to The Quays venue in Galway, where the show is filmed, Sarah-Louise said there is a great crowd from Donegal travelling to support her.

Sarah will be singing two songs tonight in a bid to make it to the grand final. “I’m singing Buiochas do dhia ar do shon as my Irish song and Dolly Parton’s Coat of many colours as my English song.”

The voting starts from scratch every week, so every vote counts for Sarah-Louise. Vote for the Gaoth Dobhair talent by texting GLOR5 to 53307 (ROI) or 60999 (NI). You can also call Tel 1513 41510 5 (ROI) or 0901 656610 5.

Don’t miss Glór Tíre tonight at 10.30pm on TG4 and more importantly, don’t forget to vote for Sarah-Louise McFadden.
