Gritters to be out on Donegal roads tomorrow morning

Temperatures are set to drop tonight with gritters to be on roads early tomorrow morning (Thursday).

The following routes will be gritted from 6AM tomorrow morning:

  • 01: National Primary North
  • 02: National Primary Central
  • 09: Cill Ulta East
  • 12: Binswilly
  • 14: Stranorlar East

Met Eireann forecast says tonight will be cold and dry with clear spells and some patches of mist and hill fog. Frost and some icy patches will develop also with lowest temperatures dropping to between -1 and +3 degrees, coolest in the midlands, as northerly winds fall light and variable.

After a frosty start, Thursday will be a cool and dry day with long spells of sunshine. Highest temperatures of 6 to 8 degrees in light to moderate northerly breezes.
