Get ready for Pramerica’s 20th Annual Global Volunteer Day

TOMORROW (Saturday), October 4, Pramerica System Ireland employees and their families and friends will join more than 20,000 other Prudential Financial, Inc. (PFI) employees and their families and friends around the world in the parent company’s 20th Global Volunteer Day.

The volunteers are donating their time and talent to projects at community service organisations serving people all around the county and the world.

Global Volunteer Day projects include beautifying local parks, cleaning up school playgrounds, building homes, preparing food for the needy, mentoring children and many other activities.

In Donegal employees of Pramerica Systems Ireland, a subsidiary of US-based PFI, along with their families and friends will participate in more than a 20 activities in partnership with local nonprofit community organisations.

PFI introduced Global Volunteer Day in October 1995 to celebrate employees’ volunteer activities.

That year, more than 5,000 Prudential employees and their families and friends worked on 100 volunteer projects in the United States and Japan.

Last year, more than 28,000 people participated in 750 Global Volunteer Day projects in the United States and 10 other countries where Prudential has a business presence.

Prudential Global Volunteer Day projects include beautifying local parks, cleaning up school playgrounds, building homes, preparing food for the needy, mentoring children and many other activities.
