Occupation:
Manager of Century Play

Team: Bonagee United

If you were throwing a party and you could invite anyone in the world, dead or alive, who would you ask around?
Would have to be Coldplay – at least the music would be sorted for the night!

Where do you like to go out to celebrate after a big victory?
Normally we would hit the Dry Arch and the new favourite Sister Sara’s/Warehouse.

What’s the worst pitch you’ve ever played on?
Probably Kilmac just so small and compact.

Which character in any film are you most like?
Some of my friends would say Bambi! For reasons off the football field!

Any odd items in your kit bag?
Not much odd in it to be fair. Foam roller, milkshake and hairspray might be the oddest things in it! Oh and my flip flops can’t beat them after a game.

Who’s the biggest joker in the team you play for? Has to be the famous Alice Diver although there are a few that think they are comedians.

Which team mate has the best looking other half? Most of the team is single and whoever isn’t single isn’t brave enough to show them because of the slagging match.

Who is the worst/best trainer?
Worst trainer has to be Shannon she prefers Hover boards than sprints! Best trainer probably Leona she is flat out with her own training and personal training with clients but still rarely misses a session!! (But she does like to cheat on the burpees!)

Who spends most time in front of the mirror in the dressing room? Between Amy and Leona the hair has to be perfect!!

Who’s the best/worst person to sit beside on the team bus?
We haven’t had many trips away on the bus. Hopefully get a few this season. Best would be Alice or Anna they are always up to something. Worst would probably be Claire or Siobhan as they just don’t stop talking.

Who has the best and who has the worst diet on the team, and what does it include?
Best diet has to be Leona. She keeps it all clean. Plenty of veg and greens. Worst has to be Shannon, she is the only one I know to eat two 99 cones before a match.

Toughest opponent you have faced?
We have been lucky to have had plenty of quality players in our league down through the years. Probably the likes of Julianne Herrity and Ciara Grant if I had to name someone.

Best or worst quote you’ve heard, either from a manager, player, opponent?
We have a member of the management team that likes to shout ACCELERATE a lot!!! ‘Hard work beats talent when talent doesn’t work hard’.

Best manager you’ve ever played under?
I have been fortunate to play under a few quality managers, but one that stands out is probably Trevor Scanlon I learnt a lot under him as a player and even more as a coach!

Best ever performance?
We had a great game last year in the All-Ireland Semi-final. The game went the whole way to penalties and we were very unlucky. Hard result to take but it was a great team performance!!

One to forget? Played for the Ulster Colleges one time in a competition and all I will say is it ended double figures to the other team! Defo one to forget!

Sporting Ambition?
Would love to go one step future this year in the National Cup with the girls. Biggest ambition is to bring some more silverware back to Bonagee!! Loads of people at the club doing great work and it would be a nice reward for them!! Along with the girls and management.

When you were playing in the back garden, who did you pretend to be? Always pretended to be David Beckham or Paul Scholes

If you were in charge of transfers, who’d be in and who’d be out of the team? Wouldn’t put anyone out to be fair. Thankfully Maria Carr joined us this year so no more dodgy tackles. Wouldn’t mind having Emma Ryan back playing if we could get her out of retirement.
