Play-off joy for Gweedore Celtic in Diamond Park

GWEEDORE Celtic will play in the Brian McCormick Sports Premier Division throughout the 2024/25 season after they retained their place thanks to a comprehensive play-off victory at the Diamond Park in Ballyare over Donegal Town, who will remain in the TDA Repairs Division One.

Cian McBride and Martin Coyle found the back of the net in the first-half and the latter was at it again in the second-half to score his side’s fourth of the day while Caolan Laux netted the third goal on the hour.

Eoin Slevin was shown a red card in the very late stages of the game.

Vying for a spot in the Brian McCormick Sports Premier Division for the 2024/25 season, this game couldn’t have started any better for Gweedore Celtic who found the net within five minutes.
