A Donegal Lotto player had reason to celebrate over the weekend after winning €146,286 in Saturday night’s Euromillions draw.
The ticket was purchased online and was one of two winning tickets with the other purchased in Ennis, Co. Clare.
The two winners were just one Lucky Star number away from winning the overall jackpot prize. The winning numbers drawn on Saturday night were: 08, 19, 32, 41, 42 and the Lucky Star numbers were 09, 12.
A spokesperson for the National Lottery have asked players to check their tickets carefully, and for the lucky winners to make contact with National Lottery headquarters as soon as possible.
“While there was no winner of the overall prize, over 76,000 players in Ireland won prizes which includes the two big winners in Clare and Donegal,” the spokesperson said.
“We’re asking all of our players nationwide to check their tickets and if you are one of the big winners, you can call us on 1800 666 222 or email claims@lottery.ie.”
