Huge excitement surrounds launch at Murvagh beach

MURVAGH Beach, one of Donegal’s most beautiful locations, will be more accessible than ever this summer thanks to a new wheelchair and hoist.

Everyone is invited to the official launch of this new development which will take place at the beach’s main car park tomorrow afternoon (Friday).

Michelle Travers from the Friends of Murvagh Beach committee has been singled out for praise following her diligent work with various agencies to bring this project to fruition.

Organisers say the wheelchair and hoist will make an enormous difference to those living with a disability as it will allow them to experience the beach and water like never before.

Media representatives, local politicians, and officials have been invited to attend but organisers would really like as many members of the public as possible to turn up.

Murvagh beach is close to Laghey and is easy to find using Satnav or Google Maps. The launch will take place tomorrow, Friday, at 3pm.
