As a result of her key relationship role with clients and international law firms in this location, Gráinne was previously seconded to Matheson’s San Francisco and Palo Alto offices.

She is one of fourteen lawyers whom Matheson has recently promoted to partner across nine different practice areas.  The appointments bring the total number of partners and tax principals in the firm to 121.

The new partners, who have already taken up their positions, have been appointed in the following practice areas; Asset Management; Commercial Litigation and Dispute Resolution; Commercial Real Estate; Corporate M&A; Energy and Infrastructure; Finance and Capital Markets; International Business Group; Financial Institutions Group; and Tax.

Michael Jackson, Managing Partner of Matheson said they are delighted to welcome these 14 skilled lawyers to our partnership.

“It is particularly pleasing to see such a large and diverse range of practice areas represented in these appointments, something which reflects the broad sectoral composition of our client base and the continued growth and success of the firm across all practice areas.

These promotions are a further endorsement of Matheson’s people strategy and our ongoing investment in talent. They are representative of the breadth and scope of the technical and legal knowledge which is nurtured across the firm.  I congratulate them on their appointments, and I look forward to working with them closely over the coming years,” he said.
