Donegal Airport issues warning to drone users

DONEGAL Airport has issued a warning to drone users. 

The Airport has posted a notice to all spectators who will be attending WAAR Wild Atlantic Adventure Race and wish to photograph the race using cameras and/or drones.

WAAR is Donegal’s biggest Adventure Race and is being held on Saturday.

A spokesperson for the Airport said, “Donegal Airport is a Control Zone (CTR) and it is illegal to fly any drone at any time within the Control Zone unless you have permission from air traffic control at the airport.
