McDonalds Letterkenny staff take part in charity abseil

Staff from McDonald’s in Letterkenny have raised over €3,500 for charity by taking part in a fundraising abseil in Dublin.

The Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC Ireland) Smithfield Tower Drop fundraiser took place last Friday with the McDonald’s Letterkenny crew members raising a wonderful amount for the charity.

All money raised through the charity abseil goes to directly to RMHC Ireland, supporting its vital work to provide accommodation and a caring and supportive environment for families whose children are seriously ill and are hospitalised or undergoing medical treatment at Children’s Health Ireland, Crumlin.

John McNamara, Franchisee Supervisor at McDonald’s Letterkenny, said he was immensely proud of his colleagues from the Letterkenny restaurant for taking part in the event.

“RMHC is an incredible organisation, and we are thrilled to have been able to support them and their fundraising efforts,” he said.

“The money raised from the event will make a tangible difference to the families that need RMHC most, and we were only too happy to do our bit. Huge well done to everyone who conquered the drop!”
