Cobh win is only the start of Harps revival – Hutchison

NEW Finn Harps signing Max Hutchison isn’t getting over excited about last Friday’s win over Cobh Ramblers but he expects the side to continue to strengthen as the second half of the season continues.

Hutchison was one of nine new signings made by Dave Rogers for the opening of the summer transfer window in July and has started both games since joining.

His debut was the 0-0 draw with Bray Wanderers but the 4-3 win over an in-form Cobh Ramblers is a big statement from the new look side.

And the winning goal came from Sean O’Donnell, who poked home as Cobh ‘keeper Lee Steacy spilled a Huthison cross, which the midfielder is counting as an assist.

“I’m counting that all day! Listen, the result is the main thing and I’m just glad that a few boys got on the scoresheet and hopefully that’s the start of them kicking on.
