PICTURE SPECIAL – Scoil Mhuire 5k in Ramelton

THERE was a large crowd at the Scoil Mhuire 5k in Ramelton on Tuesday evening.

Young and old were keen to take on the course and there were some brilliant displays.

Chris McGuinness from Foyle Valley won the race, with local man John Whoriskey coming home in second. Patrick Trimble was third.

The first female home was Danielle McNamee (Milford AC) in a time of 20:19, with Georgina Reid (Run for Fun) in second place, while Emma Naughton (Letterkenny AC) was third.
