Car found burnt out in Ballybofey

GARDAÍ in Ballybofey are appealing for information following the theft of a car which was later found burnt out.

The black Renault Clio was stolen from Glenview Park on Donegal Road, Ballybofey, on Sunday, February 12, between the hours of 8pm and when it was later located at Burn Rock, Killygordon at 10.30pm on fire.

The stolen car had been set alight and was completely destroyed by the fire.

Gardaí are appealing for residents in Glenview Park who saw or heard anything on that date which may help with their investigation to contact them.

Anyone who travelled in the area of Burn Rock between 9.30pm and 10.30pm on that date and who had a dash cam, is also urged to contact gardaí.
