Motorists suspected of driving under the influence of drugs were detected in Donegal yesterday. A motorist tested positive for cocaine in Letterkenny. Separately, a driver tested positive for cannabis in Buncrana.

Gardaí are asking motorists travelling between Porthall and Lifford this morning to be aware that a collision has taken place. A section of the N14 is partially blocked as a result but the road remains passable with caution. There have been no serious injuries but drivers should expect delays.
