Polestar Roundabout gets Stamp of approval

SOME drivers might grumble about spending more time at Letterkenny’s Polestar Roundabout than actually reaching their destination, but An Post seems to have a different spin on things.

The iconic roundabout is set to become a stamp of approval on the postal scene, following an announcement that’s sure to stick.

A spokesperson for An Post told Donegal News: “I can confirm that the artwork on the Polestar roundabout in Letterkenny will be included on our Public Art stamps that will be issued on May 30.”

Polestar joins an elite club of three other artworks that will appear on stamps from the end of next month, those being: ‘Perpetual Motion’ (the Naas bypass), Tallaght X (Library Square in Tallaght), and Riders and Horses (the Cork side of Mallow)
