WHELAN, Finbar – 19 Foxes Glen, Milford, Co. Donegal, formerly 50 Rutland Avenue, Crumlin, Dublin, January 8th, 2021, suddenly.

Deeply regretted by his loving wife Marie, sons Niall, Jamie and Ciaran, brothers Sean, Mick, George and Seamus, sister Maureen, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

In accordance with HSE and Government guidelines wake, funeral and cremation private to family only, With a maximum of ten people. Remains will repose at his home. Requiem Mass on Thursday, January 14th at 11 am in St. Peter’s Church, Milford. Cremation in Mount Jerome Crematorium, Harold’s Cross, Dublin on Saturday, January 16th at 4 pm. Rosary on Tuesday January 12th, and Wednesday, January 13th at 9 pm.

    Finbar left such an impression on me. I will always remember his kind and gentle nature. So much so that when my daughter told me she was naming her son Finbar I told her how delighted I was, as I had a lovely friend years ago with the same name. RIP Finbar. My condolences to you all. Dan
