Weather forecast: A miserable start to Sunday, but weather to improve

It’s been a very blustery start to the day across Donegal with strong gusts and rain ensuring a fairly miserable start to Sunday.

Thankfully, the forecast is for better weather for today when it will be mostly dry, with a mix of cloud and some bright or sunny spells though occasional patches of light rain or drizzle will occur.

Highest temperatures will be 8 to 10 degrees and it will turn breezy again later with moderate to fresh southwest winds developing, strong at times near western coasts.

Later this evening, the forecast is for dry weather, with a few spots of light rain or drizzle.
