Two Inishowen girls take next ‘Audition’ grand final spots

THE semi final heats of The Audition continued last weekend with two young acts from Inishowen taking the next two places in the grand final of the competition hosted by Highland Radio in association with Full Tilt Studios and The Sandwich Company.

On Sunday night 14-year-old Lauryn Mulholland from Buncrana sang her way into the final with her rendition of the Jason Mraz hit I won’t give up and 10-Year-old Lia Della Friel from Carndonagh thrilled everyone with her Acro Dancing and Contortionism.

They join Tyrone acts The Elliott Duo from Strabane and 13-year-old Dervla Martin from Fintona in the grand final who secured their places on Night 1.

This Sunday Night, February 16, The Jamaican Vampires, Cahir McLaughlin, Amy Gardiner, Hannah McCosker, Charlene Duffy, Sophie Doran, Maria McCormick, Gemma Bonner, Mary Anne McDonnell and Jade Campbell face the judges in Semi Final Night 3.

The overall winner will take home €3,000 cash and a €2,000 audio/visual package from Full Tilt Studios, Letterkenny, courtesy of Timmy Gibson and Tommy Conway.
