Two Donegal men charged in connection with a major drugs bust in Lugran on Friday night have been remanded in custody.
Seamus Boyce (36) with an address of Glenwood Park, Letterkenny, and Desmond Enfield (32), from Ramelton, appeared in court in the North yesterday charged in connection with a £300,000 herbal cannabis seizure in Lurgan, County Armagh, on Friday night.
The men are both charged with possessing a Class B controlled drug, possession of a Class B controlled drug with intention to supply and concerned in supply of a Class B drug.
The pair were detained along with another man, 59-year-old Kieran Austin, Annsborough Road, Lurgan, following the seizure at the weekend.
All three appeared in court yesterday and were remanded in custody to prison at Maghaberry to appear via video link at a Magistrates’ Court sitting at Craigavon Courthouse on April 29.
The arrests came as part of a joint operation between the Gardai and the PSNI.
