Temperatures expected to increase this week

TEMPERATURES are expected to increase from today onwards following months of wet weather.

With today expected remain dry and mild, Met Éireann said we can expect plenty of sunshine.

As temperatures reach highs of 25 degrees, conditions will remain mild and humid overnight.

Tuesday morning will see fog clear quicker than previous mornings as moderate easterly winds develop.

Good spells of sunshine are expected though there is the chance of some heavy or thundery showers with temperatures reaching highs of 24 degrees.

As the week progresses temperatures are expected to continue to reach the low to mid- twenties.
