Drumkeen United celebrate twenty years on


Back in the 1993/94 season, Drumkeen United swept all before them in The Donegal League. Under the guidance of Noel Bonner, ably assisted by James Green, they won the Premier league, the Ulster Cup, the Sportsman’s cup and the FAI Cup (Area final).


Mickey Rodgers: ‘My position as manager was no longer tenable’


FORMER Drumkeen manager Mickey Rodgers has told the Donegal News this week that he had been left in a position where his role as manager was no longer tenable, after the club had opted to get rid of the first team coach Niall McGonagle without, he claimed, informing him of the decision beforehand.
