ST NAUL’S will return to Division 2 next year in the league, but they still have a chance of silverware as they take on Na Rossa in the Division 3 final this Saturday.
Stephen Griffin was named as player-manager for the season back in January after a tough 2022 for the club which saw them relegated from Division 2 last year, finishing the season with just the one win as they came last in the second tier.
They also finished without a point in the 2022 Senior Championship but beat Bundoran in the relegation play-off final to stay up.
But they’ve had a positive start to the year with promotion and an unbeaten campaign so far with Griffin at the helm.
“I’ve enjoyed it,” Griffin said.
“I’ve been involved in the team all the time anyway so it hasn’t drastically changed.
