LETTERKENNY woman Claire Coughlan has organised a ‘Self-Care Wellness Fair’ to raise funds for her colleague Olivia Robb who was recently diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease.
Set to take place in the Silver Tassie Hotel on Sunday, May 26 from 1pm to 4pm, Claire is hoping to raise some vital funds while showcasing the services available in Donegal that promote mindfulness.
Now in its second year, Claire’s previous Self-Care Fair raised a whopping €1,500 for Jigsaw Ireland.
With an array of stalls including Reiki healers, therapists and more, it is guaranteed to be a lovely afternoon for families, couples and individuals.
Claire, who currently works in Penneys Letterkenny, began her own self-care journey during lockdown.
By meditating and practising gratitude, Claire learnt to quieten her mind.
Since lockdown, Claire has completed mindfulness, meditation and chakra healing courses and continues her research into the holistic world through reading and visiting local practitioners.
At the moment there are around 30 businesses showcasing their services at this event.
Claire’s aim is to help educate everyone on the services available in Donegal to help with self-care, self-esteem and over all their mental health .
If you are interested in getting involved in this event, there is still time to book a stall.
