Scotland, Ireland and NI to remain in the EU?

Allo, Allo!

Carry On

Little Britain

A combination of classic British comedies. But now it’s time to get serious.

Following Britain’s exit from the EU on January 31, the majority of people in Scotland and on the island of Ireland are left in a confusing and concerning situation.

Finally, a long-term and sustainable solution has been found for the people in Ireland, Northern Ireland and Scotland.

Celtic Cousins to reunite!

The sustainability of the pan-celtic region is to be achieved through the creation of a new country. Hibernia and Caledonia will unite under one proud flag through the merger of the existing countries of Scotland, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland into one magnificent nation.

This new nation will enter the world stage under the proud name of : ‘Sovereign United States of Scotland and Ireland’ – aka ‘SUSSI’ or the ‘Sovereign States’.

SUSSI will have a combined population of over 12 million, ranking it among the top 10 largest countries in the European Union.
As part of the inaugural launch of this new nation, the construction of a new bridge spanning from County Antrim across the Irish Sea to Scotland will physically link the region.

It is rumoured that Chinese contractors aim to complete the project within 24 months.

Or is this the frontrunner for the new calling card of the SUSSI?

Environmentalists will be happy to learn that green electricity will be generated from submerged turbines integrated into the submarine structure of the bridge; taking advantage of the significant tidal currents in the Irish Sea.

The Sovereign States are set to embark on a positive and profitable economic trend fuelled by synergies in the areas of tourism and fishing to name but a few.

The tourism sector is set to boom in the region. The west coast of Scotland will benefit from the extension of Ireland’s highly successful tourist route; the Wild Atlantic Way.

Starting in the south west of Ireland the scenic route currently terminates in Country Donegal in Ireland’s extreme north west.

During the next phase of development the Wild Atlantic Way will extend across the Northern Irish coastline taking in hot spots like the famous Giants Causeway before crossing the Sovereign Bridge and winding its way up the breathtaking Scottish coastline.

Fishing industries will benefit from the extended territorial waters while also putting an end to the long dispute of the island of Rockall.

The Health Service will benefit from the pooling of resources and a coordinated and united approach to deal with potential future pandemic threats.

The culture, music and dance of each region will be respected, treasured and promoted.

Rumours about the proposed rebuilding of Hadrian’s wall or the older and lesser known Antoinette’s wall and getting Westminster to finance the construction have been dismissed as unfounded and counterproductive. It is expected that the Sovereign States and its only land neighbour ‘Little Britain’ will share an amicable relationship.

All across the sporting spectrum in the fields of soccer and rugby to name but a few, fans are rubbing their hands at the prospect of multiple European and world titles in the near future.

The creation of SUSSI national teams to compete on the world stage is a mouth-watering prospect.

The creation of a SUSSI domestic football league has not been ruled out. A combination of the Scottish league, Irish League and League of Ireland is set to create a pan-Celtic league that will be an attractive alternative to the English divisions and is expected to draw world-class players and a large viewing public.

New flag for SUSSI

What will the new flag look like?

Preliminary results from market research indicates that each of the existing nations within the SUSSI have a very strong historical affinity with their respective flags.

The final selection of the new flag design will be achieved by a public vote.

A third flag suggestion for the general public to ponder over.

The movement toward the founding of the Sovereign United States of Scotland and Ireland is gathering momentum and is destined to be realised.

To vote on the selection of your preferred flag or join the discussion forum you can visit the official SUSSI Facebook page.

But it has to be done today, April 1…
