McKELVEY – The peaceful death has taken place at Letterkenny University Hospital on Monday, 28th November 2022 of Joe McKelvey, Stralongford, Drumkeen, F93 VKH3.
Deeply missed by his loving wife Margaret; children John, Emma and Mark; partners Laura and Dave; grandchildren Sadhbh and Cuan; brothers-in-law; sisters-in-law and a wide circle of family, friends and neighbours. Joe is pre-deceased by his parents William and Bridget.
Rest in Peace
Joe’s remains are reposing at his late residence on Tuesday, 29th November from 4 pm until 10 pm and on Wednesday, 30th November from 10 am until 10 pm with Rosary both evenings at 9 pm. Funeral from there on Thursday, 1st December at 10.15 am going to St. Patrick’s Church, Drumkeen for 11 am Requiem Mass. Interment afterwards in the adjoining graveyard.
Family flowers only please, donations in lieu of flowers if desired to the Oncology Day Services, Letterkenny University Hospital, c/o any family member.
House private on the morning of the funeral please.
A shuttle bus will be in operation from Hugo Sweeney’s Yard F93 XP86 to the wake-house on Tuesday, 29th November from 6 pm until 10 pm and on Wednesday from 4 pm until 10 pm
