A man in his 60s was seriously injured in a workplace accident in Dungloe yesterday afternoon.
Gardaí in Ballyshannon were alerted to the incident, which occurred on Monday, December 8 at Chapel Road, Dungloe at approximately 1.30pm.
“A male aged in his 60s was removed from the scene to Letterkenny University Hospital and remains in a serious condition,” a garda spokesperson said.

“The scene has been examined and the Health and Safety Authority have been notified.
“Investigations ongoing,” the garda spokesperson added.
