FRIENDS and work colleagues of a popular Letterkenny hairdresser fighting cancer are hoping to raise funds to secure potentially life-saving treatment abroad.
Marta Goral has set up the fundraiser on GoFundMe to help her friend, Kasia access vital treatment in her battle with cancer.
Marta said treatment abroad is her friend’s final hope.
“We are trying to raise funds for our friend Kasia’s treatment option abroad, which obviously involves huge costs.
“The treatment is her last hope and chance to get better.”
Xperia Hair and Beauty, where Kasia worked, will be donating all their tips on Saturday to this worthy cause.
Kasia began working in the Glencar-based hair salon in December of 2020, but was diagnosed with cancer a short time later.
“She has been battling ever since. We are tying to help raise money for a treatment option abroad and will be grateful for any help, no amount is too small,” a spokesperson said in a Facebook post.
