Finn Harps back in the USL after two year absence

Finn Harps is re-entering a team in the Ulster Senior League after a two-year absence.
The news was confirmed by Club Secretary John Campbell last night.
“We’re delighted to be going back into the Ulster Senior League and look forward now to developing a positive working relationship with their executive” Mr Campbell said.
The management team for the Finn Harps Reserve side will be announced over the weekend. Mr Campbell said that due to the late entry the club would not have team taking part in the opening round of league games this Sunday.
They join fellow senior club Derry City, Cockhill Celtic ,Bonagee United, Letterkenny Rovers, Fanad United and Swilly Rovers in the USL.
Niall Callaghan Secretary of the League said is was great news for the league.
“We’re delighted that the senior team in the county has made this commitment and see the need for the retention of Intermediate football in the county. I’d also like to thank Finn Harps for their professionalism during our recent discussions and we look forward to working with them over the coming seasons,” he said.
