Ever fancy owning your own island off the coast of Donegal?

A private island just off the coast of Donegal has gone on the market priced at just €75,000.

Bo Island is 4.8 acres in size and is located just off Derrybeg, close to Inishinney and Gola Islands.

It’s listed for sale by Henry Kee & Son Estate Agents and with its own private beach, it has already been attracting plenty of interest.

The sales agent says it might not be a sun drenched desert island “but without a doubt, this little island off the North West coast of Donegal is the next best thing”.

The island is served by Teach Archie Pier and is just ten minutes away from the mainland by small boat.

“This is the ideal place to unleash your inner Bear Grylles and find your own adventure,” the selling agent adds.

“The island is made up of Machair- Dune grassland unique to North West Ireland and Western Scotland and home to a number of rare plant species.

“The island is divided in two parts and therefore offers generous beach space and shoreline. The entire island is a designated Special Area of Conservation and is a Proposed National Heritage Area.”
