Dungloe ladies hold on to reach Ulster decider

Dungloe 3-10 Tyholland 2-12

Dungloe ladies just about held on by the skin of their teeth to beat Tyholland in Cremartin and reach the Ulster Junior final.

In a hectic game, Dungloe and Tyholland had the ball in the net within a minute of each other after six minutes through Ulitah Boyle and Zara Gillanders respectively which had the Monaghan side 1-3 to 1-0 ahead.

But Dungloe came back in style and Elisha Boyle, Tara Geoghegan and Katie Wallace levelled the game while Patrice Boyle hit 1-1 and Dungloe were five points up.

That lead was brought down to a goal in it by half-time but Dungloe started the stronger in the second half with a second Patrice Boyle goal and two Geoghegan scores putting them eight clear.

Tyholland came back through Áine Maguire who kicked 1-3 in the final 15 minutes, the goal coming in added time to put two in it.

Lisa Ward made it a one point game but Dungloe held on through five minutes of time played to reach the decider where they will play Lavey.
