Donegal ‘play differently every day’ – McGuinness

ARMAGH may be heartened by Tyrone’s approach against Donegal in the Ulster semi-final but Jim McGuinness has stressed that his team are ‘never going to be the same every day’.

After Donegal blitzed Derry with four goals, Tyrone took stock ahead of the semi-final and moved away from their normal approach.

They sat deep and frustrated Donegal and allowed the game to develop into a defensive struggle.

McGuinness’s men eventually overcame that challenge after extra-time but the general consensus since is that Armagh will go down a similar route.

They will have an extra week to prepare more than Tyrone did and their players should be fresher after having a break last weekend.

Armagh have a strong management team and they will do what it takes to win but McGuinness doesn’t know if they will try and ‘mirror’ Donegal.
