THE Killybegs History and Heritage Committee in association with Donegal Railway Museum are hosting a talk on the County Donegal Railway on Tuesday next, August 15, in Killybegs.

The lecture by railway historian and Donegal Railway Museum board member, Jim McBride, is called ‘The County Donegal Remembered’.

The photographs are part of the museum’s most recent publication ‘The County Donegal Remembered’ which was produced by Jim and will be available on the night of the talk.

There will also be an opportunity for local people to talk about their direct experiences of the railway and members of the public are also encouraged to bring in anything they might have which is connected to the railways.

The event takes place in the Tara Hotel, Killybegs and gets underway at 7pm.
