Coláiste Ailigh seek Ulster glory

COLÁISTE Ailigh will be hoping to learn from last year as they look to win the John Murphy Ulster final against Coláiste Oiriall today (Thursday, 12pm kick-off).

The college’s Under-19 team are back in the final, and avenged their final loss from the previous year against Largy College last week to reach the decider.

Coláiste Ailigh beat the Monaghan side 3-2 in the semi-final of the competition with Paddy Murphy getting the winner in extra-time after Caoimhin Mac Giolla Chomhaill and Sam McGarvey equalised twice in normal time.

“We were behind twice in that game,” Coláiste Ailigh manager Keith Cowan said.
