Bus Éireann – June Bank Holiday Travel Arrangements

Bus Éireann wishes to advise customers that due to the June Bank Holiday, on Monday, June 3, all services will operate a Sunday schedule.

This includes Bus Éireann’s inter-regional Expressway service which connects Dublin and Ballina, Cavan, Donegal, Dundalk, Letterkenny, Monaghan, Sligo, Waterford and Wexford, as well as services including Cork, Galway, Limerick and Tralee.

We strongly encourage intending passengers to book their guaranteed seat on Expressway at expressway.ie to benefit from a 5 per cent discount for online bookings.

With many festivals and events taking place this bank holiday weekend, including the Women’s Mini Marathon in Dublin on Sunday, June 2, intending passengers are advised to check the service updates section of our website for the latest road closures and travel information.
