A BURST water main in the Stranorlar/Drumkeen area is impacting supply for up to 5oo properties. Irish Water said repair work is underway which is expected to be completed by 2pm.
“Irish Water and Donegal County Council wish to advise customers in Stranorlar/Drumkeen, that their water supply has been impacted as a result of a burst water main. It is estimated that up to 500 properties may be affected by this unplanned outage in Callan, Calnacor, Kilross, Meenavoy, Cloughroe, Lettermore and Augheygault. Traffic management is in place for the duration of the works,” a spokesperson for the utility company said.
“It is expected that the repairs will be completed by 2.00pm today. Irish Water understands the inconvenience when a burst occurs and thanks customers for their patience while we work to repair the burst and restore normal supply to impacted customers.
